To Feel Alive is a travel and lifestyle blog written with the savvy, modern traveler in mind in what I call “aspirational, yet attainable” luxury. Here is the short list of why:With an insatiable wanderlust, ever-present appetite for food and drink, and a thirst for culture and adventure, I’ve spent a great deal of effort trying to satisfy those yearnings.
Sharing is Caring
Passion is not a strong enough word because I’m deeply in love with travel, and not just in the “I like to go places and see things” kind of way. I thoroughly enjoy planning and researching for trips and helping people realize their travel dreams. It’s the reason I left my USC MBA expectations in the corporate world to start my own travel consulting business under the prestigious LUXE Travel group in Irvine, CA. I take the time to get to know each client so I can advise on a truly custom level and curate their itineraries. But I can’t effectively do that without knowing the travel offerings available so I’m constantly developing my product expertise and destination knowledge and genuinely want to share my learnings with everyone.
Fulfill a Niche
There is an abundance of travel content out there to sort through and general reviews can be so subjective. Most online resources either feature ultra-luxury with super-exclusive experiences (and amazingly gorgeous photos) that few can afford, or are on the other end of the spectrum of budget, backpacking, and long-term extended travel. The content here is written for like-minded travelers who are looking for luxury, and not in the traditional over-the-top sense, but value-driven splurges. Luxury means something different for each person but we all work hard for the money and want to spend it on meaningful experiences. Once in a while, I’ll post something extravagant because we all deserve to treat ourselves – and for the photos, obviously.
Inspire
Because I work in this industry I genuinely love, I’m grateful and humbled to be afforded the opportunities to share with you these stories and photos. I’m getting ahead of myself here but I’m hoping that in the process and evolution of this little passion project, my reach will extend beyond informative guidance and incite action so more people can experience the world and share their own stories.
